Directions to Cal Maritime Extended Learning
From Marin, Napa, Sonoma:
• East on highway 37
• Exit onto I-80 west toward San Francisco
• Exit right onto Maritime Academy Drive
• Cross Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29) at signal
• Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus
From Sacramento:
• West on I-80 toward San Francisco
• Exit right onto Maritime Academy Drive
• Cross Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29) at signal
• Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus
From San Francisco, Oakland:
• East on I-80 toward Sacramento
• Cross Carquinez Bridge (use right toll lanes) toll is $3.00
• Exit right onto Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29)
• Left at first signal onto Maritime Academy Drive
• Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus
From Benicia Bridge:
• East I-780
• Exit onto I-80 west toward San Francisco
• Exit right onto Maritime Academy Drive
• Cross Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29) at signal
• Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus

From S.F. International Airport:
• Take 101 North which becomes 80 East.
• Follow signs to the Bay Bridge.
• Continue to the end of the suspension section of the Bay Bridge.
• Exit from the left lane at Treasure Island.
From Oakland Airport:
• Take Airport Drive out of the airport, which becomes Hegenberger Road.
• Cross Doolittle Drive and continue in right lane to 880 North entrance ramp.
• Continue on 880, which immediately becomes980, and exit at 580 West (San Francisco) exit.
• Continue on 580 in the left lane to 80 and the Bay Bridge. Leaving the toll plaza stay in the far left lane.
• Exit at Treasure Island and follow the road to main gate.
• Do not go through tunnel!!
From Sacramento:
• Take 80 West to San Francisco. Leaving the Bay Bridge toll plaza stay in the far left lane.
• Exit Treasure Island (left lane) and follow the road to main gate.
• Do not go through tunnel!!
On Base Directions:
• Follow the signs for “Museum.”
• Proceed through the gate on Treasure Island and turn right on California Avenue.
• Continue to Avenue M and turn left.
• Proceed to Building 600 (Fire School) on the right across from 9th street.
• Enter the compound through the 10th street gate and proceed to classroom #3
NOTE: For students who require lodging while attending fire fighting classes at Treasure Island, the following hotels are approximately 20 minutes from the training site (please contact the hotel for current room rates):
